Qualifications for the Apprenticeship:

Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of application.

Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D.equivalent.

Must pass a drug screening test at an approved testing site.

Must be of good physical condition to perform the work required.

Admission Requirements:
Applications are accepted on designated dates and times. Applicants MUST furnish a copy of their Birth Certificate and High School Diploma/G.E.D. at the time of sign-ups. Any applicant who can furnish a copy of weld certification or certificate of completion of a welding course from a credited vocational school such as Ivy Tech etc., will be given priority on the waiting list.

Terms of Training:
4-Year Apprenticeship Program
144 hours per year of classroom work and home studies are required along with on the job training.

Recommended High School Courses:
General Math, Geometry, Mechanical Drawing, & Welding.
